All that matters in this life

Is that you know

You are a creature

Created by the Creator —

And all of creation is here

To help you know

How much God loves you

And wants you to know it —

For certain.

Then when you begin to know

What it is like to love others

Like God loves you —

That is all and everything

There is to know.

And so —

What does it matter if you

Are poor or rich,

Sick or well,

Downtrodden or lifted above,

Humiliated or praised,

Honored or rejected?

It doesn’t.

Not anymore.

God is the More

You’ve been looking for.
